Inspired by the decorative motifs of the classic Gabbeh carpets, the Gava carpet re-proposes some of the zoomorphic subjects that characterize them. The small icons with symbolic connotations and primitive traits are here repositioned within new imaginary landscapes. Profiles of snow-capped mountains, marshy expanses and the course of a river are reinterpreted within the design of a rigorously geometric lozenge grid, which gives the carpet a contemporary imprint. GAVA finds its maximum expression accompanied with furnishings with light finishes.
